Is there TiviMate for iPhone?

Updated

At a glance

At the time of writing, November 2026, TiviMate’s Google Play listing says it is designed for Android TV and not optimised for phones or tablets. We found no App Store version from its developer. On iPhone and iPad, use any player that supports your M3U link or Xtream login.

The short answer

TiviMate is an IPTV player made for TV devices. At the time of writing, November 2026, its Google Play listing says it “is designed for Android TV and remote control navigation” and “is not optimized for touch devices such as phones or tablets”. We searched the App Store and found no app from its developer there. So, as far as its official listing shows, there is no TiviMate for iPhone or iPad.

You may see apps in the App Store with similar names. Before you install one, check the developer name on the store page and compare it with the developer named on the official listing. A similar name doesn’t mean the same maker.

The good news: you don’t need a particular app to watch your channels on iPhone. What you pay your provider for is the source, not the player.

What to use on iPhone and iPad

Your channels don’t live inside a player. They come from your provider, in one of two forms you received when you signed up:

  • An M3U link, a playlist address such as https://example.com/playlist.m3u. Sometimes it is a get.php link with your username and password in it.
  • An Xtream Codes login: a server address, a username and a password.

Any player on iPhone or iPad that supports your format can open the same source. With an Xtream login you usually get the most: live TV, movies and series in separate libraries, the guide from the server and your account status. The guide on M3U vs Xtream Codes explains the difference. If you only have an M3U link, see how to add an M3U playlist.

When you compare players on iPhone, look at the things that matter on a phone:

  • Xtream Codes support with movie and series libraries, if your provider offers a login.
  • A programme guide with now and next, and room for extra EPG links.
  • AirPlay to your TV, and Chromecast if that is what you have.
  • A second playback engine for formats such as MKV and raw TS.
  • Secure storage for your password, and a clear statement that the app provides no channels.

Our checklist for choosing an IPTV player goes through each point.

What carries over

Your link or login carries over. It belongs to your provider account, so it works in any player that supports the format. Channels, categories, logos, the guide and catch-up come from the provider, so they come with it.

Your favourites, hidden channels, settings and watch history don’t. Every player stores these in its own way, on the device where you set them. There is no standard format to move them from one app to another. Plan a few minutes to star your favourite channels again.

Your connection limit stays the same. Most providers allow a set number of streams at once. If your TV is still playing in another app while you test on the phone, the new stream may be refused. Stop one before you start the other.

Extra guide links need copying. If you added your own EPG (XMLTV) link in the app on your TV, that address isn’t part of your provider login. Copy it from that app’s source settings and add it to the new player, or the guide may cover fewer channels than before. With an Xtream login the server’s own guide loads by itself.

You can keep both. Nothing stops you from using one player on the TV and another on your iPhone, as long as your provider allows enough connections.

Where to find your link or login: your provider’s welcome email, your account page on the provider’s website, or the source settings of the player you use now. Keep it private. A login or a get.php link is a password.

Move to iptvolt in three steps

  1. Find your link or login. You need either an M3U link, or a server address with username and password.
  2. Paste it into iptvolt. Choose Paste any link. iptvolt recognises M3U, XSPF and Xtream links on its own, and a pasted Xtream playlist link fills in the login for you.
  3. Watch. Channels arrive in their categories with the guide. Movies and series appear in the library. Star your favourites.

The switch page has the details and a list of what comes with you. You keep your provider and your subscription; only the player changes.

Questions

Is TiviMate available on iPhone or iPad?

At the time of writing, November 2026, TiviMate’s Google Play listing says it is designed for Android TV and not optimised for phones or tablets. We found no App Store version from its developer.

Can I use my TiviMate playlist on iPhone?

The playlist isn’t TiviMate’s; it comes from your provider. The same M3U link or Xtream Codes login works in any iPhone player that supports that format.

Will my favourites move from my TV app to my iPhone?

No. Each player stores favourites, hidden channels and settings in its own way, and there is no common format to transfer them. Your channels come back from your link or login; star your favourites once.

Do I need a new IPTV subscription to watch on iPhone?

No. You keep your provider and use the same link or login in a player on your iPhone. Check how many devices your provider lets you stream on at the same time.

Does iptvolt work on Android too?

Yes. iptvolt runs on iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. Pro covers up to 5 of your own devices that share a sync code, across all three.
